The Perfect Wedding Reception Layout

The Perfect Wedding Reception Layout

Designing the layout of a wedding reception can be challenging to plan, but a good layout leads to a great celebration. The team at Iron City works closely with our brides to customize the perfect arrangement for your big day!

The entry area at Iron City makes a perfect welcome for wedding guests. We always suggest doing a guestbook table or display at the front doors, a gift table and possibly a small catering display for lighter appetizers. You could also add some high boy tables for guests to use, or incorporate a memory or favor table.

We love the idea of displaying the wedding cakes on our elevated stage with the natural brick backdrop. Fun and cozy lounge set ups are also a great option on the stage or in front of the garage doors.

For the main space, we like to mix and match tables and sizes. We use lots of highboys along the outside railings so guests can have a perfect view of the dance floor. On the far left hand side of the venue, we suggest using round tables that seat eight. This area is great for guests that want to take a seat for the evening. The right side is typically set with our delicious catering displays and stations

The dance floor area is a great space to add some VIP seating, perfect for the bridal party or family. Use a variety of tables including round, rectangular and highboys for an exciting twist to the standard ball room.

The perfect layout at Iron City will ensure plenty of seating for all of your guests, large walkways for great flow and movement, and most importantly, a great view of the entertainment and dancefloor.

Watch our brides layouts come to life!
