Some weddings are just so special they have to be shared! Grant and Caitlin Hagedorn’s wedding reception at Iron City on March 3, 2018 was pure perfection. Caitlin and her mother teamed up to plan the wedding and reception, and the fabulous mom and daughter duo did an outstanding job of planning of every last detail themselves. They might as well join the wedding industry full time!
Not a single details was missed, and everything was so personalized to the couple.
We loved the “generations of love” table that featured wedding photos from both sides of the family. The table was adorned with the actual wedding dresses of both the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. They looked fantastic against our signature garage doors!
Grant and Caitlin are huge music buffs, which means Iron City was the perfect venue to celebrate their love!
They had guests sign old records that will be framed in lieu of the traditional guestbook.
They even included a groom’s cake in the shape of a concert ticket as an homage to a favorite band (Widespread Panic!).
Fun fact: They actually sent Widespread Panic an invitation to the wedding! Although they declined, they did sent a signed poster from a past Birmingham show. The regret card said “Ain’t life grand” just like the song and the saying Caitlin and Grant had on their koozies.
Guests were treated to fresh and delicious Krispy Kreme doughnuts right before the sparkler send off.
And if that all wasn’t enough, we cannot forget to mention that the reception was equal parts stunningly beautiful and crazy fun. See for yourself!
All the feels! #HelloHagedorns
